Zaha Hadid’s surreal and floating band

Visual effect : This creation is by the architect Zaha Hadid for the Manchester Hall project on the occasion of the Johann Sebastian Bach festival – a sumptuous celebration of the great German composer’s works. A metaphor of music and its effect on the environment in 3D. Hadid’s billowing band amplifies the sound of the music and wraps around the spectators at the same time. The installation was conceived to be taken down and reassembled in different locations. It’s also equipped with acoustic panels.
